Women of St. Mary's

The women of St. Mary’s have an organized group to assist our priest and his staff with various projects and ministries.  Whether active or not, all women of St. Mary’s Parish are considered members.   The main sources of income for the group are annual dues of $5 from each woman of the parish, bake sales and donations received for serving funeral luncheons.

The Women of St. Mary’s provides funding for the hosts and wine used for communion and pays for the yearly food service license and other necessities for the parish hall kitchen.  Donations are also made to Vacation Bible School, St. Vincent de Paul, and other parish needs as appropriate.  Besides organizing funeral luncheon committees, the group also coordinates several other important ministries of the parish such as hospital and nursing home visits, First Friday Adoration, rides to Mass and greeters at Mass, and other aid to parishioners as needed.

The Women of St. Mary’s meet the first Tuesday of each month (except for July) at 6:30 pm in the church hall.  Dessert, coffee and fellowship are shared following the meeting.  Please consider joining us!
